Klamath Falls, Ore. – Wednesday was signing day at Klamath Union, where Oregon Tech baseball recruited KU Senior PJ Safford.
Tech head baseball coach Ricky Walker – “It’s a great thing. Our goal is always to sign the best local guys around, two year’s ago, we were fortunate enough to sign Marcos Ulloa-Ford, this year PJ, we recognize, I go to a lot of games after our season ends and watch and take as many notes as we possibly can and we’ve been following PJ for a while and being able to recognize the way he carries himself on the field, his work ethic, his character on and off the field and relationships with friends and family. He fits our culture perfectly and being able to welcome him to the tech baseball family is exciting.”
