Wildfire Preparedness

The Klamath County Association of REALTORS® (KCAR) invites the public to a free community event focused on wildfire mitigation and defensible space. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Running Y Resort – Woodlands Room.
With wildfire season approaching, this event aims to provide homeowners, landowners, and community members with practical tools and resources to better protect their properties. Attendees will hear from insurance experts who will discuss how wildfires are impacting insurance rates and what options are available for those who have been denied coverage. Additionally, there will be an important update on the Oregon Statewide Wildfire Risk Map and its implications for property owners.
KCAR is proud to bring together local leaders and industry professionals to share actionable information with the community. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
