Modoc War Driving Tour

This tour will cover the opening phases of the Modoc War. It will begin at the Merrill Civic Center parking lot at 9:00 A.M.

Participants will caravan to the Malin area down the east side of the former shoreline of Tule Lake.

 Those who wish to break off can depart at any time. Those who wish to visit Captain Jack’s Stronghold may continue into the Lava Beds.

Please not there is a fee to enter the park and that you will be expected to pay or show a park pass.

Additionally, the museum is not liable for any accidents that may occur on the tour.

Please bring your own lunch and water.
