DESCRIPTION:The first annual Tater Trot 5k run will be held on Saturday October 19th\, 2024 in Merrill Oregon\, as part of the Klamath Basin Potato Festival. This years run will be capped at 100 registrants\, so click on the link below to reserve your spot now. The registration fee is $30 and includes a fun gift from Tater Tots. For $15 extra you can get a race shirt as well. Check-in for the race will be held starting at 8:00 AM at the intersection of Front St and Main St by the old barn. The race will start at 9:00 AM and the course will take runners down South Merrill Rd. All proceeds from the run will go towards helping support Tater Tots’ clinical services and community programs for youth and families in the Klamath Basin.

DESCRIPTION:The Lady Owls will host two Date Night Camps (Wednesday\, Oct. 23 | Friday\, Oct. 25 – both from 5:30-8:30 p.m.\, Cost $50 each) designed for local families who want to drop off their kids to work on softball skills while parents can enjoy a night out. Campers will join OIT players and staff as they cover proper fundamentals of throwing\, catching\, fielding and hitting. \n\nOn Saturday\, Oct. 26 – the team will host an All-Skills Camp (Ages 7-12\, Cost $50) from 9-11:30 a.m. and an Advance Skills Camp (Ages 13-18\, Cost $75) from 1-4 p.m. The players and staff will cover drills and proper mechanics of throwing\, catching\, fielding and hitting. \n\nAll campers will receive an OIT softball t-shirt and must bring appropriate practice gear (turf shoes/tennis shoes\, softball pants\, t-shirt\, bat\, glove\, helmet\, etc.) and as a reminder\, no metal cleats are allowed at Stilwell Stadium. \n\nFor more information\, contact Stewart at (541) 885-1629 or via email at greg.stewart@oit.edu.

SUMMARY:Paradise Pumpkin Patch
DESCRIPTION:Raelynn Feinauer started Pumpkin Paradise this year as a means to give lessons to youth about farming.  There have been a few hiccups this year.  She will have them ironed out for the 2025 pumpkin season.  Funds this year are going to cover the costs and any profit will be donated to an agriculture program of her choosing.  Next year\, this will be her senior project with a lot more to offer than picking pumpkins. If successful\, she will donate funds to keep it going and making donations to charities of her choosing.
