DESCRIPTION:KLAMATH FALLS\, Ore. – The Jefferson State Shooting Association Spring Gun Coin & Knife Show along with the the refocused Maker’s Market will be held Saturday & Sunday\, April 25 & 26 from 9-5 Saturday & from 9 to 3 Sunday. It is held at the Klamath County Fair/Expo Center in Klamath Falls. Admission is $5\, good for both shows. Active duty military & law enforcement personnel admitted free with ID. \nThe Gun Show has been a Klamath County tradition for more than 50 years. \nAt the there will be 200 show tables to look over and many different types of collectables including antique & modern firearms\, coins\, knives\, ammunition\, optics\, targets\, holsters and leather gear. \nThe Maker’s Market is a new focus for the previous Indoor Swap Meet. It will feature handmade craft items as well as the many items previously showcased including\, antiques\, household items and many other things. It will be held in the main arena section. \nThere will be a special display by the Cascade Civil War Society showing a typical encampment from the Civil War time and displaying weapons\, uniforms\, cooking implements & medical supplies. They will even bring a cannon! The Cascade Civil War Society will have memberships available. \nThe Jefferson State Shooting Association is an all volunteer non-profit organization devoted the shooting sports in Klamath County. We build & maintain the ranges out at Sportsman’s Park east of Keno in Klamath County and provide safety training for young folks. Membership for both the JSSA & Sportsman’s Park will be available at the show. \nFood & Drink will be sold on-site.

DESCRIPTION:The Dirty Pelican Bike Paddle Run in Klamath Falls\, Oregon\, is a race open to three-person teams or one-person conquerors.\nOriginally\, the Dirty Pelican was an informal adventure race between off-duty firefighters\, police officers\, nurses\, 9-1-1 operators\, and other agencies\, challenging one another on Klamath Lake and throughout Moore Park. As participation grew\, the race became unmanageable for the casual group.In 2017\, a couple of founding race participants asked friends from the Pregnancy Hope Center to take on the event as a fundraiser and make the event accessible to more adventurers.The 2026 race is presented by Sage Credit Union (former Pacific Crest) and includes a 7-mile mountain bike ride\, 1.5-mile paddle on Klamath Lake\, and 3.5-mile trail run in Moore Park.\nThe Fun Run is happening the same day at 9:15 am\, designed to be exciting for the whole family! SUMMARY:2026 Klamath Promise Graduation Sensation
DESCRIPTION:The 11th annual Klamath Promise Graduation Sensation Parade and Party in the Park is scheduled for Wednesday\, May 27\, 2026\, with the parade starting at 12noon on Main Street\, Klamath Falls. All graduating high school seniors from Klamath County\, as well as some from Northern California and Lake County\, will join with their Kindergarten classes to parade down Main Street. High school seniors will then gather in Veterans’ Park for an award distribution of scholarships and gift cards of over $1\,000 per minute! Every graduating senior present is eligible to win\, whether they plan to enter the workforce\, trades\, military\, college\, or are undecided!\n\nFamily\, friends\, supporters\, and businesses are encouraged to line the sidewalks of Main Street at 12noon on May 27 and cheer on the success of our community’s students! Klamath Promise is actively seeking award donors and event volunteers!  All award funds are locally raised and 100% goes to the student.  Over 90 individuals and organizations volunteer to make this event possible for our kids.  Please contact klamath_promise@soesd.k12.or.us or call 541-776-8560 extension 2119\n\nAbout the Klamath Promise\nThe Klamath Promise is a longstanding local initiative connecting the community to the schools to increase student success through education\, from preschool through career and college readiness.
