Solar eclipse will be partially visible in the Basin Monday

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Klamath Basin residents can expect to see just under 30% of Monday’s solar eclipse as long as there isn’t too much cloud cover.

According to timeanddate.com’s eclipse tracker, the eclipse will begin shortly before 10:30 a.m. and last a little less than two hours. Their interactive eclipse path map contains data for any specific location and can be found here.

The next major eclipse event visible in Oregon will be a total lunar eclipse in March 2025.
