High School Baseball –
Corbin Hamilton shut down the Phoenix Pirates, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Henley to a 6-0 win in Medford yesterday. Carson Siems, who went 1-3, led Henley with two runs batted in. In addition to Siems, Chase Barrett, Jacoby Tacchini, Derrick Cox, Cam Carpenter and Connor Shively each had a hit in the win. Henley play Phoenix again in a double header this Friday at Henley. 
Hidden Valley’s Jarom Chambers lined a 2-run double in the second and a 2-run single in the third, leading Hidden Valley to the 11-1 win over Klamath Union in the Skyline Conference opener. Lawson O’Leary struck out nine in four shutout innings. The Pels avoided the shutout in the fifth, as Donovan Jones scored on a wild pitch. Aryson Swaim had a double, with PJ Safford and Luis Meza Bravo getting the two remaining Pelican hits
Crosspoint Christian got out to a 4-run lead in the first inning and held on for a 10-9 victory over Glendale on Tuesday.  Toner and Bowman each collected two hits for Crosspoint Christian, PetrikRootBowman, and Dejong each drove in two runs for Crosspoint Christian Varsity WarriorsNext up for Crosspoint Christian is a game against Riddle High School Baseball on Friday.
Also today, PJ Safford from Klamath Union will be signing with Oregon Tech to play baseball for the Hustlin’ Owls.
