Klamath Falls, Ore. – The Henley High School Girls Basketball team brought home a third place trophy following the 4A State Basketball Tournament last weekend in Forest Grove. The Lady Hornets beat Marist Catholic 46-41 on Thursday, then fell to #1 seed Stayton 53-66 on Friday, and secured third place in the tournament by beating Baker 67-51. Sophomore Mikayla Schroeder was also selected to the All-Tournament team.

Oregon Tech’s men’s and women’s basketball teams’ seasons ended Friday night: the Lady Owls lost to Huntington 52-57 and the men lost to Keiser of Florida 90-94 in overtime.

Friday night, March 20th, the top 40 guys and girls from the area high schools will play in the Gino’s All Star Classic at Mazama High School. The girls’ game will be at 5:30 and the guys’ game will be at 7:30
