CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech forward Jackson Cooper was named McDonald’s/Urban Edge Network Cascade Conference Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
The junior, from Portland, averaged 22.5 points, eight assists and six rebounds in the Hustlin’ Owls two games at the Lithia Classic, recording a pair of career-bests.
Cooper scored a career-high 29 points in Friday’s game vs. No. 23-ranked Hope International, while adding a career-high nine assists in Saturday’s win over Our Lady of the Lake.
OIT returns to action Wednesday, hosting Simpson at 7:30 p.m. as part of Chamber of Commerce Night.
