KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – You don’t need to worry about a parking space to attend Saturday’s Greater Klamath CityFest.
A shuttle service will be provided approximately every 15 minutes from 1:45 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. from four locations.
Pick-up sites include:
- Gospel Mission
- Klamath Open Door (6th Street)
- Klamath Union High School (on the football field side)
- Klamath Union High School (on the opposite side of the school)
Those using the shuttle will be dropped off at Pine and 7th streets downtown.
Parking for those with handicap placards will be available behind Columbia Bank at Klamath and 6th streets.
Starting at 2 and concluding at 5:50 p.m. there will be many booths and activities drawing local residents downtown. Highlights include:
- Inflatable bounce houses and horse rides at 11th and Main streets.
- BMX stunt show at 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. at 8th and Main streets.
- Skateboard stunt show at 3:30 p.m. at 8th and Main streets.
- Food vendors at Main and 6th, 7th and 8th streets. While the activities are free, the food is not.
- Live music at 6th and Main streets from 2 to 5:50 p.m.
- Mechanical bull at 5th and Main street from 2 to 5:50 p.m.
The event moves to Veterans Park at 6 p.m. with these draws:
Live worship music, a message of hope and baptisms from 6 to 7 p.m.
Free Ryan Stevenson concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
CityFest is made possible by the donations of local businesses and people from the community. It represents a demonstration of God’s love for the community and involves more than 60 churches from throughout the region.
