Henley 13, North Marion 1

The Hornets jumped out to a four-run lead in the first inning and piled on three more in the second to coast to a mercy-rule victory. Carson Siems helped lead a 10-hit attack, adding a triple and a home run. Max Price finished 3-for-4 with an RBI. Ian Meyer was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs on the day. Hayden Poore got the win, working 3.0 innings, allowing two hits and no earned runs.

La Pine 6, Mazama 5

A walk-off home run by Bryson Adams lifted the hometown Hawks to a victory over Mazama on Saturday. Mazama allowed three runs in the bottom of the first inning but battled back throughout the contest. In the top of the seventh inning, Mazama plated three runs to tie the game, including a sacrifice fly from Jacoby Nickerson. But the late comeback attempt was foiled by the long ball from Adams. Mason Snell finished with four RBIs on a 2-for-4 day. Will Hamilton also finished 1-for-2. Jace Feeback was the losing pitcher of record, working the final 2.0 innings and allowing two hits and one run.

Crosspoint Christian 7, Oakland 3

Nate Gibson hit a home run as the Warriors took care of business in a non-league meeting with the Oakers. Crosspoint scored at least one run in each of the first five innings, punctuated by a three-run second inning. Gibson and Brody Toner each finished 1-for-4 with two RBIs. Wyatt Moyles earned the win on the mound, working 2.1 innings and allowing three hits and one run. Dylan Dejong earned the save, pitching the final 4.0 innings, allowing just one hit and striking out five batters.

Estacada 6, Henley 3

The Hornets got on the board in each of the first two innings, but that was all the offense they produced as Estacada rallied in the fourth and fifth innings to pull out a win. Henley was stifled at the plate by Estacada’s winning pitcher, Laney Briones, who worked a complete game, allowing five hits and striking out seven batters. Kalin Blankenship was the losing pitcher of record for Henley, tossing 4.0 innings and allowing four hits and two earned runs.

Henley 24, Crook County 12

The Henley offense had no problems putting runs on the board in the nightcap. The Hornets trailed 1-0 entering the third inning, but a two-RBI single from Gracie White, followed by a three-run home run from Layli Segura, uncorked the offense. The Cowgirls rallied to tie the game in the bottom half of the inning, but Makayla Schroeder hit two home runs in the fourth inning, and the Hornets plated nine runs total in that frame. They added two in the fifth and five more in the sixth to earn a blowout victory. Rylee Hollingsworth earned the win in the circle, working 4.0 innings and allowing six hits and two earned runs while striking out five batters.

Klamath U./Crosspoint 14, Sisters 4

The Pels used a walk-off hit-by-pitch to earn the win, as Jocelyn Rice was plunked with the bases loaded to trigger a mercy-rule finish. The Pels scored at least one run in each of the first four innings, and a seven-run sixth frame ended the contest early. Seven Harris finished 2-for-2 with an RBI and three runs scored. Marley Reeves was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Ella Hammond worked a complete game to earn the win, allowing four hits and two earned runs in 6.0 innings.

Klamath U./Crosspoint 15, Sisters 10

The bats for the Outlaws were active in the nightcap, as Sisters jumped out to a 6-1 advantage after two innings. The Pels were down 10-1 entering the bottom of the fourth inning, but an RBI double from Dahlia Bunnell, followed by a Jocelyn Rice triple, opened the scoring for Klamath Union. The Pels plated eight runs in the fourth, one in the fifth, and five more in the sixth to storm ahead and hang on for the victory. Seven Harris was 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs and a run scored. Rice finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs, a double, and a triple. Ella Hammond earned her second win of the day, working the final 4.2 innings and allowing four hits, two earned runs, and five strikeouts.
