High School Baseball
The Henley Hornets baseball team opens the season today with a doubleheader in Medford, challenging North Bend at 3:00 p.m. and Cascade Christian at 5:00 p.m.
The Bonanza baseball team faces Oakridge.
High School Track and Field
Today, the Basin Relays take place at Klamath Union High School. Athletes from KUHS will compete with others from Bonanza, Chiloquin, Crosspoint Christian, Henley, Lakeview, and Lost River. Field events begin at 3:00 p.m., and track events begin at 3:30 p.m.
Oregon Tech Notes
A first-place showdown between Oregon Tech and British Columbia softball will now be played in Klamath Falls, due to a poor weekend weather forecast in Vancouver, B.C. The series will be played this Saturday and Sunday at Stilwell Stadium, with each doubleheader set for 11 a.m., and will be broadcast live on the Urban Edge Network.
Gino’s All-Star Basketball Classic
The 2026 Gino’s All-Star Classic will be played on March 20th at Mazama High School. 20 of the best boys and 20 of the best girls from the Basin will play with and against each other in a night of community fun benefiting the Klamath and Lake Counties Food Bank. If you or a family member cannot attend, games will be broadcast for free on mybasin.com and on 104.3 FM/960 AM.
