High School Baseball

Mazama High School hosted a pair of baseball games yesterday. In the opener, Rogue River defeated Bonanza 24-3. In the nightcap, Mazama lost to Rogue River 5-4.

There are no high school baseball games on the schedule today, but tomorrow Henley has a doubleheader, and Bonanza faces Oakridge.

High School Softball

The Vikings softball team hosted the same pair of games as baseball. Rogue River beat Bonanza 25-7, and the Vikings defeated the Chieftains 18-1.

Today, Lost River hosts Etna (CA). Tomorrow, Henley visits Marist Catholic, Bonanza faces Oakridge, and Chiloquin takes on Klamath Union.

Oregon Tech Notes

A first-place showdown between Oregon Tech and British Columbia softball will now be played in Klamath Falls, due to a poor weekend weather forecast in Vancouver, B.C. The series will be played this Saturday and Sunday at Stilwell Stadium, with each doubleheader set for 11 a.m., and will be broadcast live on the Urban Edge Network.

Gino’s All-Star Basketball Classic

The 2026 Gino’s All-Star Classic will be played on March 20th at Mazama High School. 20 of the best boys and 20 of the best girls from the Basin will play with and against each other in a night of community fun benefiting the Klamath and Lake Counties Food Bank. If you or a family member cannot attend, games will be broadcast for free on mybasin.com and on 104.3 FM/960 AM.
