High School Baseball

The Klamath Union Pelicans opened the season with a 32-1 win against St. Mary’s Medford. Klamath Union took advantage of 28 walks and tossed a combined no-hitter. P.J. Safford struck out seven batters. See the full box score here.

The Lost River Raiders defeated Modoc 4-3.

Today, Mazma hosts Rogue River and Bonanza, where the Cheiftains play both schools in a double-header. First pitch is at 2:00 p.m.

Yesterday, Mazama hosted the Vikings Small School Meet with Crosspoint Christian, Chiloquin, Bonanza, and Lost River. The Vikings boys and girls each took the top spot. Individual results can be found here.
