Klamath County School District Announces 2026 Crystal Apple Award winners

Please join us in congratulating the 2026 Crystal Apple Award winners from the Klamath County School District! 🍎✨
KCSD Superintendent Glen Szymoniak made surprise visits last week to each of the winners to share the news that they had been selected for this year’s Crystal Apple honor.
The winners will be formally recognized during the Crystal Apple Gala on April 21 at the Ross Ragland Theater. The community is invited to attend and help us celebrate.
These outstanding educators and staff members inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities every day.

• Donna Radford — Bonanza K–12, ELL (English Language Learners) teacher
• Marlena McPherson — Henley High School, science/biology teacher
• Charity Schmitt — Stearns Elementary, ELL (English Language Learners) teacher
• David “Scot” Fritz — Klamath County Transition Program paraprofessional
• Kjerstin Spark-Stahl — Lost River Jr./Sr. High, social studies teacher
• Jettie Charter — District transportation secretary
• Eugenea Campbell — Ferguson Elementary, first-grade teacher
