OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jozie Ramos recorded season-highs of 25 points and 15 rebounds, as Oregon Tech completed a perfect 4-0 road trip with a 90-61 victory over Evergreen State inside Constantino Recreation Center.
The Lady Owls (13-7, 9-3 CCC) converted 54% (36-of-67) of their field goal attempts and used a 45-24 rebound edge to their advantage in the road victory.
Ramos capped a 13-6 run to open the game with a 3-point play and added four-straight points in a 6-0 run that closed the quarter to give Tech a 25-14 lead. Ayla Marston and Tatum Schmerbach each scored consecutive baskets in a 10-point run late in the half, helping the visitors build a 41-26 halftime lead – a margin that would grow to 33 points in the second half.
Schmerbach flirted with a second-straight triple-double, scoring 21 points, with nine rebounds and six assists, as did Olivia Sprague, who ended the night with 11 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Marston added 12 points – her second-straight double-digit scoring game.
The winless Geoducks (0-15, 0-12) got a career-high 19 points from Haleigh Hanson in the loss.
Tech returns home on Friday, hosting LC State in the annual K-12 Field Trip Game, with tip-off set for 12 p.m.
