KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech held their fourth-straight opponent to 20% or less shooting from 3-point range, as the Hustlin’ Owls completed a sweep of their 4-game homestand, outlasting Corban, 82-69, at Danny Miles Court.

Big nights from Dakota Reber and Jackson Cooper helped No. 20-ranked OIT (9-3, 4-0 CCC) remain atop the Cascade Conference standings heading into the 2026 portion of the league schedule.

Reber scored 21 points with nine rebounds – becoming the first Hustlin’ Owls player to record 4-straight games with 20-or-more points since current assistant Mitchell Fink had 5-consecutive 20-point games during the 2018-19 postseason.

Cooper had 18 points and eight rebounds, adding a career-high 12 assists. The junior became just the third player in the last 17 years to record 12-or-more assists – joining Fink and Jamison Guerra.

The Owls never trailed in the win, but it wasn’t easy – as their lead did not grow larger than 10 points until the final minute of the contest.

Grant Tull scored 13 of his 14 points in the first half to give OIT a 38-29 halftime lead. The Warriors (5-7, 1-3) hung around – as a Joe Gould lay-up cut the deficit to 59-56 with eight minutes remaining, with a Bennet Bos lay-up on a fastbreak pulling Corban within 63-61.

Garrett Osborne ended the Warriors rally with a corner triple – jumpstarting an 11-2 OIT run – as Cooper converted in the paint, Reber canned a transition 3-pointer and Jared Sucher closed the rally with a 3-point play, giving the Owls a 74-63 lead with 2:26 left.

Tech used a sizeable edge at the free throw line, converting 21-of-30 free throws in the win – while holding the Warriors to 4-of-22 shooting from 3-point range.

Gould had 19 points and Tj Zimmerman scored 13 in the loss for Corban.

The Owls will have next week off in preparation for the first road trip of the CCC season, traveling to Walla Walla and Lewis-Clark State on Jan. 2-3.
