CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech guard Tatum Schmerbach was honored as McDonald’s-Urban Edge Network Cascade Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
The junior was instrumental in the Lady Owls opening up CCC play with a 2-0 record, averaging 19 points, eight rebounds and nine assists per game, converting 50% of field goal attempts.
Schmerbach had a monster game on Saturday, recording the third triple-double in OIT history – scoring 26 points, with 10 rebounds and a career-high 13 assists.
The Lady Owls step away from league play on Sunday, traveling to Salem for an exhibition game at Division III Willamette.
