CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech guard Olivia Sprague was honored as McDonald’s-Urban Edge Network Cascade Conference Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
The fifth-year senior filled up the stat sheet in the Lady Owls three games – all against Top-25 opponents.
Sprague finished the week with 16 rebounds, four steals and eight blocked shots to lead the OIT defensive efforts, while averaging 15.3 points per game on the offensive end.
Against Lindsey Wilson, Sprague recorded a career-high five blocked shots, while adding seven rebounds vs. Rocky Mountain and two steals vs. Carroll.
The Lady Owls return home on Friday night, hosting Evergreen State at 5:30 p.m.
