Klamath Woman Who Was Missing Located Deceased

 

Klamath County, OR – The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) confirms that 53-year-old Katt Wolfkill Morris, also known as Katt Wolfkill-Morris, who was reported missing on May 1, 2025, has been located deceased.

Ms. Morris was last seen after telling a family member she was going for a walk. She did not return, and her disappearance was reported to KCSO. Prior to being reported missing, Ms. Morris had made concerning statements indicating possible self-harm. A subsequent check of the residence revealed that a handgun was also missing.

On May 6, 2025, deputies from KCSO, with assistance from the Oregon State Police (OSP), conducted a thorough search of the property where Ms. Morris lived with her husband. During that search, she was located deceased beneath a camp trailer in the backyard.

The cause of death appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to Ms. Morris’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
