Crosspoint Christian 15, Glendale 4 (Game 1)
The Warriors scored five runs in the first inning and added eight more in the second to coast to a conference win over the Glendale Pirates.
A nine-hit attack saw everyone with an at-bat earn a hit. Brayden Grimes had two hits and two RBI, while Nate Gibson’s only hit was a three-run inside-the-park home run in the second inning. Wyatt Moyles, Joel Kleinjan, and Brody Turner each had two RBI. Glendale only mustered two hits from Alex Thompson and Jackson Pisan.
Nate Gibson earned the win, going 1.1 innings and allowing one hit and three runs with four walks against three strikeouts. Kaden France was the losing pitcher, going 2.1 innings, allowing eight hits and six walks, leading to 13 runs (10 earned).
Crosspoint Christian 16, Glendale 6 (Game 2)
Crosspoint Christian scored five runs in the first inning and continued to pile on, coasting to a mercy-rule victory and extending the current winning streak to four games.
The Warriors’ bats were scorching, as the team amassed 17 hits in the five-inning affair. Isaac Root was 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI, while Nate Gibson also added a double and an RBI while going 3-3. Wyatt Moyles was 3-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. For Glendale, Huntyr Rocha was 2-4, while Keegan Siebert finished 1-3 with a two-RBI triple.
Kody Sparks earned the win for Crosspoint Christian, going 4.0 innings, allowing four hits and five runs while striking out four batters. Rocha pitched all 4.2 innings for the Pirates, allowing 13 earned runs and punching out six hitters.
Glendale continues the season against Riddle on May 6th, while Crosspoint Christian visits Bonanza.
Bonanza 8, Riddle 7 (Game 1)
The Antlers struck first with a three-run opening inning, but the Irish battled back to tie the game at 6-6 in the fourth inning. Bonanza rallied to score twice in the seventh, which proved to be enough to secure a win.
Emiliano Dominguez was the offensive standout for the Antlers, going 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Riddle only mustered four hits in the loss.
Layne Miranda picked up the win in relief for the Antlers, pitching the final 3.1 innings without allowing a hit and striking out six batters. Layton Lewis got the loss in relief. In 3.1 innings of work, he allowed three hits and walked four, leading to two runs.
Riddle 9, Bonanza 8 (Game 2)
The Irish overcame a late Antler rally to earn a walk-off victory. Bonanza used a seven-run sixth inning to get ahead 8-7, but a walk-off single from Layton Rainwater pushed Riddle to a win.
The two pitching staffs combined to issue 22 walks, compared to 13 combined hits for the offenses. Colby Medeiros finished 3-4 with an RBI and a double. Tucker Halstead was 2-3 with two runs scored for the Irish.
Daniel Jones was the losing pitcher for Bonanza, going 3.0 innings, allowing four hits, five runs (two earned), and striking out four. Halstead picked up the win in 5.0 innings, allowing three hits, five runs, and 10 punchouts.
Riddle returns to the diamond on May 6th against Glendale, while Bonanza challenges Crosspoint Christian.
Lost River FFW, Days Creek FFL
Lost River picked up two forfeit wins from Days Creek.

Hidden Valley/New Hope Christian 3, Mazama 1 (Game 1)
Brilliant pitching stifled both offenses in this low-scoring Skyline Conference contest. Hidden Valley scored all three runs in the first inning, and the lead held for the remainder of the ballgame.
Mazama’s only offense came from a Jayden Justice single in the fourth inning. Hidden Valley collected seven hits throughout the game. Caden Kuhnert finished 2-4 with a run scored.
Pitching was the story of the game, as the winning pitcher, Jack Matthew, pitched 6.2 innings while striking out 10 hitters. Justice got the loss for Mazama, working 4.0 innings, allowing seven hits and three runs.
Hidden Valley/New Hope Christian 10, Mazama 1 (Game 2)
The Mustangs’ pitching staff held Mazama to only two hits as they earned a doubleheader sweep over the Vikings in Grants Pass.
Wylie Mendes was the standout for Hidden Valley/New Hope Christian, going 3-4 with two doubles, a triple, and three RBI. Deshawn Carter and Mason Spivey were the two Vikings to earn hits.
Alijah Zauher earned the win on the mound for the Mustangs, going 5.1 innings, allowing one hit and fanny eight Vikings. Kellen Lee earned the loss for Mazama in 1.2 innings pitched, allowing three hits, four walks, and six runs (three earned).
The Mustangs continue the season against Henley on May 7th, while Mazama visits Klamath Union.
Henley 8, Junction City 2 (Game 1)
The Hornets used a six-run fourth inning to power ahead of the Tigers and secure a win.
Jacoby Tacchini and Max Price knocked in three runs each for Henley. Carson Pimley and Ryan Douglas added one RBI each. Owen Cooper and Conner Clift got the only two base hits for Junction City.
Mark Carpenter tossed a gem in the win, going 6.0 innings, allowing two hits and one earned run while striking out 12 hitters. His counterpart from Junction City, Jayden Lucas, pitched 4.0 innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while walking five and striking out six batters.
Junction City 5, Henley 4 (Game 2)
The Tigers plated three runs in the sixth inning to take a lead and stave off a sweep at the hands of Henley. Junction City scored first with two runs in the second inning, but Henley responded with three of their own. Henley added one more in the fourth, but it was undone by the pivotal sixth frame.
Kaden Shafer wrapped a two-RBI single in the sixth inning. He finished 1-3 with a run scored. He was helped by Bryson Rodriguez, who was 1-2 with two RBI. For Henley, Conner Shively was 3-4 with an RBI, and Jacoby Tacchini was 2-4 with two RBI.
Corbin Hamilton was dealt a loss in the start, going 5.0 innings, allowing two hits, five runs, and four walks against seven strikeouts. Conner Clift got the win for the Tigers, working 6.0 innings, allowing nine hits, four runs, and 10 strikeouts.
Junction City returns to league play on May 6th against Cottage Grove/Yoncalla, while Henley faces Hidden Valley on May 7th.
Umpqua Valley Christian 10, Lost River 0
Teagan Sprague tossed a complete game one-hitter for the Monarchs as they earned a mercy-rule victory over Lost River. Umpqua Valley Christian scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to enforce the mercy rule.
Doug Jenkins was the only Raider to collect a hit. For UVC, Sprague finished 2-4 with a double. Ty Hellenthal was 3-3 with an RBI, while Ryan Shaver was 2-4 with three RBI.
Sprague was brilliant on the hill, going 6.0 innings, allowing just one hit and fanning seven batters. Kyle Diaz picked up the loss for the Raiders despite only allowing one earned run. He also allowed six hits and struck out four batters in 5.0 innings of work.
UVC also beat Reedsport 9-0 on Monday, and will face Camas Valley on May 7th. Lost River is off until May 13th when they travel to Riddle.

Phoenix 12, Klamath Union 2 (Game 1)
The Pelicans were held to three hits in a mercy-rule loss to Phoenix. A five-run seventh inning pushed the Pirates over the top.
Offensively, Maruk Morris was 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored for Klamath Union, while P.J. Safford also added an RBI in a 1-2 day. For Phoenix, Conner Brenner was 3-5 with two RBI, while Lucca Petrone was 2-4 with three RBI.
Chris Phillips tossed a complete game for Phoenix in the win, allowing three hits, two runs, and striking out nine hitters. Morris picked up a loss in the start for Klamath Union, going 5.0 innings and allowing seven hits, seven runs, walking eight, and striking out four.
Phoenix 7, Klamath Union 5 (Game 2)
Phoenix scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning to secure a win over Klamath Union.
P.J. Safford, Jack Everett, and Aryson Swaim each had two hits for the Pelicans in the loss. Caden Cunningham was the standout for Phoenix, going 1-4 with three RBI.
Cadon Darcy picked up the win in relief for Phoenix, going 5.0 innings, allowing two hits and striking out seven. Reese Johnson picked up a loss for Klamath Union, going 2.0 innings, allowing three runs, and punching out five batters.
Phoenix will continue the season against Hidden Valley on May 7th, while Klamath Union meets Mazama.
