Campos Named 4A Pitcher of the Year; Carpenter Named 4A Player of the Year

WILSONVILLE, Ore – The Oregon School Activities Association released the All-State selections for the 2024 baseball and softball seasons. The Klamath Basin had plenty of placements in all classifications.

Annie Campos was named 4A pitcher of the year and was also a first-team All-State selection. She was joined by Henley teammate Anna Harper as a first-team outfielder. Also from Henley, Layli Segura, and Belle Birch earned second-team honors. Gracie White and Samantha Moore were honorable mentions. From Mazama, Maggie Pizano earned third-team recognition.

For baseball, Henley’s Mark Carpenter earned 4A Player of the Year honors and joined Aiden Hayes on the first-team as infielders. Connor Shively joined teammates Luke Austin and Payton Price on the second-team. Beau Pyle earned third-team honors as a pitcher. Mazama’s Marcos Ulloa-Ford was named a third-team infielder. Lost River’s Connor Dunlea and Chase McAuliffe made the 2A/1A first-team.
