CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech centerfielder Lexi Klum was honored as Rize Laboratory-Cascade Conference Player of the Week, announced by the league office.
The senior, from Tigard, was instrumental in the Lady Owls 4-game sweep at Carroll, going 9-for-14 in the series, with three doubles, her eighth home run of the season, adding seven RBI.
Klum had a big Saturday, going 5-for-7 in the doubleheader, scoring three runs and driving in five – as Tech remained tied with Eastern Oregon atop the CCC standings.
OIT closes out the regular-season this weekend, hosting College of Idaho (Friday / 2 p.m.; Saturday / 11 a.m.)
