KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, members of the Basin Interagency Narcotics
Enforcement Team (BINET) arrested Klamath Falls resident Mattio ZANOTTO (66), in the 7600 Block
of Booth Road, regarding ZANOTTO distributing Methamphetamine in Klamath Falls. BINET has been
actively investigating ZANOTTO as an upper-level Methamphetamine supplier in the Klamath Basin. Since the investigation began, BINET has served search warrants and conducted searches at locations in Klamath County, which led to stopping ZANOTTO leaving his Booth Road residence when investigators believed ZANOTTO possessed a large quantity of Methamphetamine for sale. Investigators searched ZANOTTO’s residence and seized approximately 3.57 pounds of Methamphetamine, United States Currency believed to be the proceeds of sales of Methamphetamine, and evidence of distribution of controlled substances.
ZANOTTO was lodged at the Klamath County Jail on charges of:
• ORS 475.894 – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
• ORS 475.890 – Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
• ORS 475.886 – Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
• ORS 161.450 – Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
• ORS 161.450 – Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
• ORS 161.450 – Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
• ORS 144.106 – Parole Violation

This BINET investigation included detectives from the Klamath Falls Police Department, the Oregon State Police, an intelligence analyst from the Oregon National Guard, and members of Klamath County Community Corrections. BINET is a multi-jurisdictional narcotics task force that identifies, disrupts, and dismantles local drug trafficking organizations.
