Warm-Up This Week Aids in Storm Cleanup

Klamath Falls, Ore.  –  The city is working on cleaning up after the weekend’s storms.

The piled snow in the center of the street makes it easier for the city to haul away the snow and they say they have every worker on staff working on the cleanup with 4 private contractors working clearing slush and storm cleanup.

The latest word on the trees down in Moore Park is that they will have the road reopened today, but all work is dependent upon the weather.

Spectrum is staying quiet on how many residents were without service over the weekend and all power outages left over in rural areas from the storm should be fixed by today.

Temperatures this week are expected to top out in the mid-forties leading to some fast melting of the snow and aiding in the cleanup process, however, all that water has to go somewhere and while it finds its way into the Lake and River, it may cause a few headaches in area basements and ponding on area roads.
