Klamath Falls, Ore – Early Tuesday morning, just after 4:00am, Klamath County emergency personnel were sent to a two vehicle accident on Sprague River Road. Klamath County Sheriff’s Deputy was already in the area responding to a disturbance call at the time of the reported crash. The Deputy confirmed that a vehicle leaving the disturbance was involved in the crash.
Sasha Lee Atchley was involved in a head-on collision with an unloaded log truck. Atchley was transported to Sky Lakes Medical center by a Chiloquin Fire and Rescue ambulance crew with serious injuries; she later passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
According to a press release from the Klamath County Sheriff’s office, the driver of the log truck was transported to the hospital by a Bonanza Ambulance crew with minor injuries.
