Chiloquin, Ore. – In an effort to set the stage for the city’s next century, The city of Chiloquin recently reviewed the city’s five-year strategic plan in a workshop with a focus on three key areas; Healthy Living, Infrastructure, and Safety.
Healthy Living covers nuisance abatement and community parks/recreation, while infrastructure encompasses water and wastewater projects, street improvements, and utility projects. And safety focuses on an agreement Chiloquin has with the County Sheriff and a collaboration with the county plans on the second pillar public safety and health.
The minutes and proposed action items from the strategic plan workshop will be presented to the city council at their next meeting for further discussion and decisions by the council.
