KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – After nearly a month away from the Basin, the Oregon Tech basketball teams return home next weekend to open up Cascade Conference play – with the league opener against Eastern Oregon the annual Military Appreciation Night.

All active or retired military personnel, along with their families will be admitted free of charge to the December 1 doubleheader between the Owls and Mountaineers – with the women’s game slated for 5:30 p.m. and the men’s game to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Fans are asked to dress in their best camouflage outfits in support of our military.

Prior to the men’s game, the honor guard from 173rd Fighter Wing at Kingsley Field will perform the National Anthem.

The first 500 fans, along with the first 100 Oregon Tech students, will receive a commemorative Military Appreciation Night camo t-shirt, presented by the Oregon Army National Guard, along with local sponsors Winema Electric, 104.3/960 Sports and 92.5 KLAD-FM.

In addition, next Friday’s game will also feature the first 94-foot putt for $5,000 – sponsored by Lithia Chrysler, Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls and Klamath Falls Toyota.

The Lady Owls head into the match-up with EOU with a perfect 5-0 record, while the Hustlin’ Owls are riding a 3-game win streak and have a 5-1 overall record.
