The Social Media started buzzing yesterday in Klamath Falls when a “Savanna Marie” posted to Facebook about a $100 tip that a young man who worked at Sidelines received, and in her words was taken from him by the Sidelines Owner. It was all the buzz on Main Street this morning so KAGO News visited Sidelines this morning to establish the veracity of the story and spoke with staff at the Pizzeria. There was a $100 tip that was shared between the staff, however as the post stated, it was never pocketed by the owner. The young man handed the tip to the owner who then broke it into smaller bills in the register and shared it with the tip pool. One employee speaking anonymously, stated that while they weren’t there at the time, the tip sharing is how operations work there and that the post was removed at their request due to the incendiary nature of the post and the misrepresentation of the incident.
