All 13 Oregon Tech Teams Earn NAIA Scholar-Team Distinction

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oregon Tech student-athletes continued to be among the tops in the NAIA, as all 13 intercollegiate teams sponsored by the school were named NAIA Scholar Teams for the 2022-23 academic year.

 

To earn the distinction, a team must maintain a cumulative 3.00 grade point average for the full term – with all 13 OIT teams maintaining at least a 3.37 GPA.

 

Both the volleyball and men’s basketball programs led the way nationally, as the volleyball squad’s 3.74 GPA ranked fourth among all NAIA volleyball teams, while the 3.57 GPA for the basketball team ranked fourth among men’s hoop teams.

 

Earning the distinction were – volleyball (3.74), women’s cross country (3.66), softball (3.62), women’s track (3.59), men’s basketball (3.57), men’s cross country (3.57), women’s basketball (3.56), men’s golf (3.54), women’s soccer (3.48), men’s track (3.45), baseball (3.39), men’s soccer (3.38) and women’s golf (3.37).
