The Klamath Jr. Falcons sent their 12U and 14U teams to the Bash to School Tournament in Medford last weekend, with the 12U team winning the silver bracket and the 14U team finishing second in the gold bracket.
The 12U Jr. Falcons finished seventh in pool play with a 13-3 loss to Junior RiverHawk Baseball Academy and a 17-5 loss to the Redwood Giants. That got them a spot in the silver bracket, where they beat the South Medford Jr. Panthers 15-2 and Aces Baseball Club 12-4 to claim the title.
The 14U Jr. Falcons finished fourth in pool play with an 11-8 loss to the Ashland Jr. Grizzlies an 18-10 win over RBC, placing them in the gold bracket. They beat the Redwood Giants 7-6 to advance to the title game, where they lost 11-10 to RBC.
The 12U Jr. Falcons will return to Medford Sept. 30-Oct. 1 to compete in the Fall Classic.
