Klamath Falls, OR – The Klamath County Fair has come and gone, but it was a banner year for the Junior Livestock Auction. 380 youth from all across Klamath County spent months preparing animals for show and market and their achievements were rewarded when the auction broke records for the 4th straight year selling $1.7 million as of Monday night. And the count for fair attendance is in for this week. Estimates for fair attendance at this year’s fair is at 40,000 which is better than most years but slightly off from last years. . Last year, thanks to their 100th year celebration the fair set a record of 42,000 attendees, but overall attendance for the year is up.
