Drama at Klamath Falls Walmart today. A customer inadvertently set off a can of bear spray and management shut down access to the store temporarily while they allowed the air to clear. Customers who were in the store we’re allowed to remain shopping, but additional customers were informed that the store would reopen at 3PM. Walmart Spokesman Joe Penni said in late day interview that the whole event was really not that big of a deal and confirmed that no one was injured. He stressed that “the store was not evacuated” and that they returned to normal operations as quickly as possible.
