Millions of Dollars Allocated to the Basin

Salem, Ore. – Several legislative wins happened over the weekend for Klamath County as they wrapped up the session in Salem. Representative Emily McIntire and Representative E Werner Reschke announced over 18 million dollars was awarded to the Oregon Institute of Technology for their Geothermal system Emergency Renovation. 2 Million was allocated for construction of the Klamath County Crimson Rose Facility. $130,873 goes to the Ross Ragland Theater. 1.5 million dollars will go to the Klamath County Community College for their childcare Residential Learning Community. 1.3 million to the Chiloquin Airport for airport obstruction removal. 1.5 million to the Klamath County Economic Development Association. And The Klamath Lake County Food Bank was approved for 580 thousand dollars for Warehouse Renovation and Paving.
