Oregon Tech Announces Military Appreciation Night this Saturday vs. Southern Oregon

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- The Oregon Tech athletic department announced today that this Saturday, Dec. 10, will be Military Appreciation Night, with all active or retired military personnel admitted free to the men’s and women’s basketball games vs. Southern Oregon.

Fans are encouraged to wear their best camouflage to show support for our military. Thanks to the generous support of Winema Electric, Phill Kensler State Farm, 104.3 & 960 Sports and 92.5 KLAD-FM, the first 100 active or retired veterans with ID will receive a limited-edition Military Appreciation Camo T-shirt.

Military connected students at OIT and their family members are encouraged to stop by the Veteran Resource Center in the College Union (Room 112) to pick up free tickets by Friday at 5 p.m.

Members affiliated with the 173rd Fighter Wing and the 550th Fighter Squadron, tickets can be picked up at the Kingsley Field Finance Office with Major Tom Eichelkraut no later than Thursday at 4 p.m.

Saturday’s women’s game between the Lady Owls and Raiders is set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s match-up beginning at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live in the Klamath Basin – the women’s game on 104.3/960 Sports, with the men’s game live on 92.5 KLAD.
