Amateur Radio Field Day
June 29 @ 8:00 am - June 30 @ 11:00 am
Free

Please join the Klamath Basin Amateur Radio Association on June 28th from 11am to 5pm and June 29th from 8am to 11am for the annual Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day.
ARRL Field Day is a yearly event where amateur radio (or “ham radio”) operators across the U.S. and Canada set up radios in parks, fields, or other outdoor spots to practice talking to people across the country—even without cell phones or the internet. It’s like a big campout with radios, where they test how well they can communicate in case of emergencies. It’s also a fun way to show the public what ham radio is all about and how it can help during disasters when other systems might fail. Anyone can stop by, learn, and even get on the air!
