ATRIO to Exit Oregon Commercial Marketplace

ATRIO Health Plans Announces 2018 Exit from the Oregon Commercial Marketplace

Health Plan Continues to Invest and Grow with its Medicare Advantage Product Portfolio

SALEM, Ore. – August 9, 2017 ATRIO Health Plans, serving individuals, families, employer groups and Medicare beneficiaries in southwestern Oregon, has recently announced its plans to withdraw its bid to provide commercial business in Oregon for 2018.
ATRIO will no longer offer individual, family, or group plans through the insurance market created by the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
The company is committed to serving its commercial members through the end of their coverage terms. However, current plan holders should seek alternate insurance coverage during open enrollment periods later this year.
This exit from the commercial market will not impact ATRIO’s service to Medicare Advantage customers in Marion, Polk, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath and Douglas counties. The shift away from the commercial market will allow ATRIO to focus on and evolve its Medicare Advantage products. ATRIO looks forward to working with current members, future members and the health care providers in these communities.
