$18 Million Awarded for Cover Oregon Fix

The Oregon Health Authority is getting ready to shell out another 18-million dollars to replace the failed Cover Oregon website. The agency announced that it has awarded a contract to Deloitte Consulting— a UK conglomerate with US headquarters in New York and offices in Portland. The company has worked nineteen other states to integrate their websites with the federal health care exchange site. The contract requires the site be up and running by November 15th— that’s when the health care enrollment window opens.
