Klamath Falls, Ore.– One Klamath County Deputy was slightly injured during a struggle to wrestle a firearm away from a man in Sprague River over the weekend. Deputies responded to a report of several shots being fired in a home on Fifth Street. When they arrived, they ordered 22-year old Cody Joseph Brudage to put down a handgun, but he refused. Deputies managed to get the firearm from the man, but it was a struggle, and one officer’s suffered a couple of dislocated fingers as result. No one else was injured.
