Klamath Falls, Ore.– A recently-released state prisoner is in custody this afternoon after he was caught burglarizing a home, then led Klamath County deputies on a high speed chase. The suspect took off in a stolen car after a homeowner returned to find the man in the house and called 9-1-1. Sheriff Frank Skrah says deputies pursued the suspect, until he put the car into a ditch and tried to flee on foot. After a fight, the man was taken into custody. The Sheriff didn’t have information on the man’s identification, but say his deputies recovered at least three stolen weapons and other items.
