Klamath Falls Man Arrested Following Investigation into injury to 3-month old daughter


Klamath Falls, Ore. – Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigations Division detectives arrested a Klamath Falls man Friday following an investigation into an injury to his 3-month old daughter. 

On May 2, 2014, OSP detectives arrested LANDON JAMES SELF, age 29, from Klamath Falls, for causing serious physical injury to his daughter. OSP was asked to investigate after a doctor examined his daughter at a hospital and found she had a fractured leg. The investigation determined SELF was responsible for the serious injury and he was taken into custody and lodged in the Klamath County Jail for Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Mistreatment in the First Degree. 

The child was placed in temporary custody of the Oregon Department of Human Services – Child Welfare.
