Klamath Falls, Ore.– A demonstration of manual weaving of fabric will be offered during a free family after-school session at the Klamath County Museum Thursday, April 17.
“Earlier this month we showed how wool was spun into yarn in the old days,” said museum volunteer Karen Williams. “This time we’ll show how to take the yarn and weave it into fabric on a loom.”
Parents or guardians who bring children to the museum after school on Thursdays will get free admission, along with the children.
Families can come at any time between 3 and 5 p.m. Thursday for a guided tour of the museum or to see the weaving demonstration.
