Upper Klamath Agreement Deadline is Wednesday

Klamath Falls, Ore.– Wednesday morning is the deadline for ratifying the Upper Klamath Basin Comprehensive Agreement, a water management and sharing plan that took several months to draft, and gave Klamath Tribal members just about a month to review. The agreement provides for restoration projects, economic development funding for Klamath Tribes, and adds at least 30-thousand acre feet of annual inflows to Upper Klamath Lake for agricultural use.
