Truck Crash on I-97 Yields $1 Million in Drugs



Sherman County, Ore.– At first it seemed like your common overturned semi-truck on Highway 97 early yesterday morning. But the company that towed the overturned truck contacted police when they discovered packages of meth, heroin, and cocaine worth more than a million dollars hidden among bell peppers. The driver, 53-year old Salvador Martinez-Perez from East Wenatchee, Washington, faces Federal drug charges.
