Air quality warning

Stukel to the west burning smoke wilderness fire

Klamath Falls, Ore. – The National Weather Service has issued an air quality warning for Klamath and Lake Counties due to some slow moving air and a high pressure system that’s trapping pollution. If you have allergies or other illnesses that effect your lungs… you’ll want to avoid spending too much time outside until at least tomorrow afternoon… and no outdoor burning is allowed.

We received an update from Klamath County Air Quality that the advisory has been lifted and all woodstoves and pellet stoves are ok to burn!

Yesterday’s “green” burn condition has been changed to “red” again today and is in effect until noon Wednesday.
