Outside firm to run Cover Oregon website

SALEM, Ore. — Governor John Kitzhaber announced yesterday that an outside firm has been hired to review what went wrong with the Cover Oregon exchange website.

The site is still unable to enroll people despite spending more than $160 million so far.

Kitzhaber says the state has cut the number of uninsured by enrolling 150,000 people in the low-income Oregon Health Plan and 20,000 people in private insurance.
