Fatality free New Year’s holiday on Oregon roadways

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Oregon had a fatality free New Year’s holiday this year, according to preliminary reports.

No one was reportedly killed on Oregon’s roadways in ODOT’s 30-hour New Year’s holiday reporting period, which runs from 6pm New Year’s Eve to 11:59pm January 1st.

This is the third time since 1970 that there were no reported traffic fatalities during the holiday.

Klamath Falls Area Command office did make three DUII arrests.
