Oregon woman found guilty of first degree murder

SISKYOU COUNTY, Ca.  — An Oregon woman was found guilty of first degree murder for killing her husband in a campground in November 2012.

Trial witnesses stated that Patricia MacCallum had wanted her husband, Chris, dead and had carried through with the act by shooting him 8 or 9 times while he was sleeping in a tent at an Applegate campground.

MacCallum is facing of 50 years to life when she’s sentenced on February 20th.
