KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A number of local businesses have said that they don’t want the city of Klamath Falls to run the local utilities, and they’d rather have Pacific Power
continue to run the operation here in the basin.

The final meeting is tonight at 7pm, and there is expected to be an outpouring of opinions on the decision.

Questions on whether the city has fully thought out the financial implications of the move, as well sending a message that outside businesses aren’t welcome will be brought up by business leader this evening.

I am a resident out in rocky point and I am a satisfied customer of pacific power. I strongly appose the idea of the city taking over the utility. Will there be a public vote because at this time I don’t know anyone who supports this.
