LAKEVIEW, Ore. –How to fund air quality improvements for Lake and Klamath counties was the topic at a recent meeting of the South Central Regional Solutions
Advisory Committee.

The air quality improvement project needs $1-1.5 million to be funded, and the responsibility would be shared between Klamath and Lake counties.

The funds, if granted, would come through Oregon Lottery’s state bonds, and would go towards weatherization and replacement of older wood-burning stoves in Lake and Klamath County sometime in 2014 or 2015.
